The XFIT LYCRA® brand and related technologies are available exclusively through INVISTA and its licensees.
Mills, brands and/or private label retailers must have a license from INVISTA in order to produce or sell fabrics or garments branded as XFIT LYCRA® brand and made with the associated technologies.

Patent Information

The new warp stretch patent is the latest in a series of patents owned by INVISTA around bi-stretch technology. In December 2003 INVISTA was granted a patent on the use of bare LYCRA® fibers to achieve bi-stretch fabrics and garments. Patents and patent applications relevant to this technology include U.S. Patent Nos. 6,659,139; 6,782,923; and 7,143,790 and U.S. Patent Application Nos. 11/566,321 and 11/055,939.
